Move from SQL2012 evaluation to Volume Licencing and further db problems.

In setting up a Server I ordered a copy of SQL Server 2012 Per Core through our Volume Licencing account.

In the time I was waiting for this to be approved I downloaded demo copy of SQL Server 2012 and started building out our Dynamics CRM solution.

Completely forgot to enter the new key when it came through and came in yesterday morning to be told CRM wasn't working. Looking into it a bit further I couldn't start the CRM services nor the SQL services.

When trying to launch SQL I'm told 'Evaluation period has expired. For information on how to upgrade your evaluation software please go to http://www.microsoft.com/sql/howtobuy'

If I go into the Volume Licence portal I can see our licenced copies of SQL but when I click on Key it says 'This product does not require a product key.' I've spoken to Microsoft today who have confirmed that the key comes packaged with the product so if I download SQL2012 from the Portal I will be able to install it.

I've tried to install it via upgrade but it see's the previous version and says that I have not selected any new features (as they are all already installed.

So am just wondering the best way to get this back up and working with as little disruption as possible - there was me thinking I could just enter the product code and be done.
