Hi,
My company currently has 4 servers running SQL Server with various databases from Microsoft AX 4.0 and SharePoint 2007 to many smaller databases.
Lately my manager mentioned that he wants me to move all databases onto one SQL Server. Whilst it may be practical for in support terms as I will only be concerned with one server, I feel there could be performance issues. I'm particularly worried about having SharePoint and AX on the one SQL Server.
Can anybody please advise on this? Is it a good/bad idea?
